The Southeastern Baptist College baseball program is proud to announce the signing of Andre Ancalade from Holy Cross High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A versatile and athletic player, Ancalade brings the ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Throughout his high school career, he has demonstrated the athleticism and baseball IQ to contribute at several positions, including the infield, outfield, and on the mound. His willingness to do whatever the team needs has made him a valuable piece of a successful Holy Cross program.

Ancalade is a right-handed hitter and thrower whose athletic profile continues to trend upward. His defensive versatility, arm strength, and overall athleticism allow him to contribute in a variety of roles, giving the Chargers another valuable piece for the future. 

Ancalade's work ethic and commitment to improving his game have helped him develop into one of the more intriguing prospects in the New Orleans area. Competing for one of Louisiana's premier high school baseball programs has prepared him for the challenges and expectations of collegiate baseball.

"Andre is a baseball player in every sense of the word," said Assistant Coach Ryley Reynolds. "What stands out is his versatility and competitiveness. He can play multiple positions, he understands the game, and he comes from a winning program. We believe Andre has a tremendous upside, and we're excited to watch him continue to develop in a Chargers uniform."

Ancalade becomes another important addition to Southeastern Baptist College's 2026 recruiting class as the Chargers continue building a roster filled with athletic, high-character student-athletes who fit the culture of the program.
