Box Score 2 Game 1 Recap: Chargers Battle Hard in Opening Match up
Southeastern Baptist College came up short in Game 1 against the USSA Eagles, falling 7-3 despite a strong showing at the plate and on the base paths.
Brayden Bufkin took the mound to start the game, tossing 5.2 innings while allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking two.
Tre'Von Wynn and Weston Wales led the Charger offense with two hits apiece. Dilon Booth and Wynn each drove in a run, keeping Southeastern in the game early. The Chargers were aggressive on the bases, swiping three bags in total.

The Chargers bounced back in Game 2 in commanding fashion, defeating the USSA Eagles 17-4.
Weston Wales led the offensive outburst, going 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer, tallying four RBIs. Daylon Collins also came up big with a two-run homer and a double, while Dilon Booth, Craig Duplantis, and Braylon McMillian each contributed RBI singles during an eight-run fifth inning.
Coby Newell got the win on the mound, striking out five over 4.2 innings. Patrick Rivers was lights out in relief, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings with four strikeouts and no walks.
The Chargers racked up 15 hits and drew 12 walks as a team. Booth and Wales each collected three hits, and Cale Barnes led the team with three walks.
