For one of the most successful seasons in program history,
Southeastern Baptist College Baseball continues to gain recognition across the NCCAA South Region. Junior infielder
Jeremiah McKinney has earned NCCAA DII South All-Region honors following an outstanding season for the Chargers.
"Jeremiah was one of the most consistent players in our lineup all season long," said Head Coach Rafael Farrell. "He brought toughness, energy, and leadership every single day. Whether it was at the plate, on the bases, or defensively, he found ways to impact games and help us win."
Jeremiah McKinney established himself as one of the top middle infielders in the region during the 2026 season. The Petal, Mississippi native hit .400 on the season while posting a .524 on-base percentage and a 1.032 OPS against NCCAA competition. He collected 26 hits, scored 20 runs, drove in 14 RBIs, and added 18Â stolen bases while consistently setting the tone offensively for the Chargers.
McKinney also made his presence felt defensively with his athleticism and versatility in the infield. Throughout the season, he provided steady defense while bringing intensity and competitiveness to every game. His ability to create momentum offensively and defensively made him a key contributor during Southeastern Baptist College's strong season run.
A product of Petal High School, McKinney has continued to develop into one of the Chargers' most reliable all-around players and will look to build on an impressive 2026 campaign heading into 2027Â season.
