Fort Lauderdale, FL – The Southeastern Baptist College Chargers, entering the 2025 NCCAA South Regional Tournament as the #4 seed, opened play Monday in a high-scoring contest but ultimately fell short in a 12-7 loss. The game, held at the University of Fort Lauderdale, featured explosive offense and multiple lead changes as both teams fought for a chance to advance toward the NCCAA World Series in Kansas City.
Southeastern matched their opponent blow-for-blow through seven innings, tying the game twice, but a late surge in the eighth inning proved to be the difference.

Despite the loss, the Chargers showcased heart and resilience in their regional opener. They'll regroup quickly as they continue tournament play with hopes of earning a spot in Kansas City for the NCCAA World Series.
