Heidelberg High School proudly announces that senior guards JaMarcus Keys and Jer'Borie Payton have committed to continue their basketball careers at Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, Mississippi.
JaMarcus Keys – Floor General with Vision
Standing at 5'10", JaMarcus Keys served as the Oilers' primary point guard, demonstrating exceptional court vision and leadership. Throughout the 2024–25 season, he averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists per game, showcasing his ability to orchestrate the offense and contribute across the board.Â
Jer'Borie Payton – Dynamic Two-Way Threat
At 5'8" and 176 lbs, Jer'Borie Payton was a standout shooting guard for Heidelberg. He led the team with an average of 14.3 points per game, complemented by 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals per game. His scoring prowess and defensive tenacity made him a vital asset on both ends of the court.Â
Next Chapter at Southeastern Baptist College
