Heidelberg High School proudly announces that senior guards JaMarcus Keys and Jer'Borie Payton have committed to continue their basketball careers at Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, Mississippi.

JaMarcus Keys – Floor General with Vision

Standing at 5'10", JaMarcus Keys served as the Oilers' primary point guard, demonstrating exceptional court vision and leadership. Throughout the 2024–25 season, he averaged 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists per game, showcasing his ability to orchestrate the offense and contribute across the board. 

Jer'Borie Payton – Dynamic Two-Way Threat

At 5'8" and 176 lbs, Jer'Borie Payton was a standout shooting guard for Heidelberg. He led the team with an average of 14.3 points per game, complemented by 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals per game. His scoring prowess and defensive tenacity made him a vital asset on both ends of the court. 

Next Chapter at Southeastern Baptist College

Both athletes will join the Chargers at Southeastern Baptist College, bringing their skills and dedication to the collegiate level. Their commitment reflects the strength of Heidelberg High's basketball program and the players' hard work and determination.
