Biography
Sydney Coward returns for her sophomore season after an impressive freshman campaign with the Chargers. Known for her durability and relentless work ethic, Sydney was the team’s “iron woman,” averaging nearly 38 minutes per game. A determined defender, she ranked second on the team in blocks while also leading the Chargers with 49 made three-pointers.
Her shooting ability and defensive grit earned her Honorable Mention South All-Region recognition as a freshman — a testament to her impact on both ends of the court. Beyond the stats, Sydney brings energy, focus, and leadership to every practice, setting the tone for her teammates.
