Southeastern Baptist College

Landon Green is a freshman right-handed pitcher and versatile infielder for the Southeastern Baptist College Chargers baseball team. He hails from Leakesville, Mississippi, where he starred at Greene County High School, earning recognition for both his pitching and hitting abilities.

At Greene County, Green was a three-year varsity athlete and a key contributor to the Wildcats’ success. On the mound, he compiled an impressive 2.40 ERA over 43 innings while striking out 44 batters in the 2024 season — showcasing his competitiveness and strike-throwing ability. At the plate, he also excelled, posting a .345 batting average, proving he can impact the game as a two-way player.

Green’s excellence was recognized with two Magnolia All-Star selections (2023 & 2024) and an All-District honor in 2024, underscoring his consistent performance and impact on both sides of the ball.

Beyond athletics, Green distinguished himself with strong academics and leadership. He graduated with a 3.7 GPA, earned a spot in the Greene County High School Hall of Fame, and was voted “Mr. Greene County High School” by his peers — a testament to his character, work ethic, and influence in the community. Additionally, he completed 80+ hours of community service through volunteer work supporting local churches, senior care, and school events
