Southeastern Baptist College

Ethan Bettner is a right-handed pitcher for the Southeastern Baptist College Chargers, bringing competitiveness, command, and elite strikeout ability to the SBC pitching staff. A standout from Snook Christian Academy in Alabama, Bettner arrives at SBC with a decorated high school career and a reputation as one of the top pitchers in his region.

Bettner was named the 2024 Player of the Year, selected as a 2024 AISA All-Star, and ranked #34 in Alabama for ERA. He also finished #1 in AISA AAA Region 2 Area for strikeouts, showcasing his swing-and-miss stuff and durability on the mound. A consistent performer, Bettner helped lead his team to a 2022 Area Championship and was widely recognized as one of the toughest arms in AISA competition.

Off the field, Ethan excelled academically with a 3.5+ GPA, earned membership in the National Honor Society, and was active in leadership organizations such as the Optimist Club, collecting multiple academic honors.

Now at SBC, Bettner brings a blend of high-level prep success, strong work ethic, and collegiate-ready tools. His ability to command the strike zone, generate strikeouts, and compete at a high level makes him a key addition to the Chargers' pitching staff.
