Rafael Farrell is the Head Baseball Coach at Southeastern Baptist College, where he has built the Chargers into one of the NCCAA South Region's emerging programs. Since taking over the program, Farrell has established a culture rooted in faith, discipline, accountability, and player development, leading Southeastern Baptist to four NCCAA South Regional appearances in five seasons and the program's deepest postseason run in school history.
Known for his relentless recruiting efforts and commitment to developing student-athletes, Farrell has expanded the Chargers' recruiting footprint across the Southeast while helping position the program as a consistent regional contender. His leadership emphasizes spiritual growth, academic success, and excellence on the field, preparing players to succeed both during and after their collegiate careers.
Before entering the coaching profession, Farrell played collegiate baseball at East Central Community College before continuing his career at the University of West Alabama, experiences that helped shape the competitive mindset and player-first philosophy he brings to Southeastern Baptist today.
As head coach, Farrell oversees all aspects of the Chargers baseball program, including recruiting, player development, practice planning, game management, and program growth. His vision is to build a championship-caliber program that honors Christ while competing for NCCAA South Region championships and national recognition.
