Game Recap

We started the game slow, committing three turnovers before scoring our first point. You can't go four-plus minutes without scoring and expect to win a conference road game. BUF jumped out to an early 8–0 run, but we responded with a 15–7 run fueled by our defense to get back into the game. From there, the game went back and forth for most of the first half. Over the final three minutes, BUF closed the half on an 11–6 run, and we went into halftime down 41–34.

BUF opened the second half with a 13–6 run, putting us in another hole. Once again, our defense kept us within striking distance and gave us chances to get back into the game. However, we have to find a way to be more consistent offensively if we want to win games like this.

Individual Performances

• Adin Johnson had a huge performance off the bench with 24 points.
• Keyshawn Johnson provided solid minutes off the bench with 9 points and 5 rebounds.
• Steven Black finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Our effort on the defensive end was strong, but improving our offensive execution and consistency must be a priority moving forward.
